Activities Questionnaires

The Arrowfield and Hough End Community Action Group is planning a series of community activities and events for the forthcoming year. The intention is to provide a range of activities specifically aimed at 7–18 year olds and a range aimed at adult and family groups.

Children’s activities might include : football • cycling • bicycle workshops • motor sports • assault course • water sports • windsurfing • sailing classes • fishing • scuba diving • swimming • pool/snooker • self defence • baking • cooking • games swap  (psp, xbox, wii etc) • internet use  • fashion/design • graffiti wall • arts & crafts  • discos • barbecues • music groups/workshops • dance (street) • fun day fairs

Adult & family activities might include :
Events for adults : knitting/crochet clubs  • days out (blackpool etc) • bingo • jumble sale (table top/carboot) • bowls • grow your own fruit & veg • herb garden • internet access
Family events/trips : cinemas • bowling • go karting • paintball • alton towers • blackpool
Annual events/celebrations : chinese new year • valentine’s day • easter (bonnet parade, egg hunt, easter egg decorating etc.) • may day • v-e day  • summer fêtes • picnics in the park • halloween • bonfire night • christmas (fête, carol singing, raffle, cake competition etc.)
Fund-raising events : comic relief • children in need • prince of wales trust • lottery

Most importantly, we want your views about what you would be interested in. Please use the Add your comment link above to let us know which activities on the lists you would like to be doing – and please make your own suggestions if there is something we’ve not thought of!

Alternatively, we’ve prepared some questionnaires for you to download, print out, complete and bring along to the Public Meeting on Monday 8th February at Loreto School, Nell Lane, starting at 7pm.
