The Arrowfield and Hough End Community Action Group is proud to unveil its new logo.
The logo was designed by Chorlton High School pupil Lily Sands who was the winner of a competition held by the group involving the area’s schools. The aim was to design a memorable logo which represents the Group’s values of community and neighbourliness, the diversity of its population, the green environment and feelings of positivity and optimism.
The Group’s Committee voted Lily’s design as the best response to the brief, and this has now been worked up into a fully functioning logo and she received top prize of a gift voucher.
A second place prize was awarded to Imogen Fox also of Chorlton High School, and two further runners up prizes were awarded to Brandon Neild and Jordan Bowers of Barlow Hall Primary School.
Congratulations to the prize winners and thank you to all who entered. Come back to the website soon, as it is being redesigned to include the new logo.
