Top of the Pop-addums

The evening air was heavy with the scents of Indian spices and the sounds of Bollywood music at Buckthorn House on Thursday, as local residents flocked to the Arrowfield and Hough End Community Action Group’s, Curry Night’. The event, part of Manchester Neighbours’ Day, saw around 60 hungry neighbours tucking into an array of dishes including 5 different curries, rices, breads, poppadums, samosas, pakoras and all the trimmings with drinks and deserts.

The fantastic food was provided by Angur Miah and his team at Premier Massala on Barlow Moor Road – so a big thanks to them. And a big thank you to all those who attended and helped to make this the latest of the Group’s successful community events.
